Got To View a Christmas Present On Facebook....For me!

LOL, Just had to show it off some. This King size quilt was started by my mother a few months before she past away. Her hands just were at the point where she could not sew like she had all her life, so did not get it finished. My sister, trained by her and an accomplished seamstress, picked up the project. She made no claim to when it might be completed, if ever.

She just posted a pic of it on Facebook and I see it is to be a Christmas present for me!!! It is going to be so fine on the Murphy bed my dad and I built in our museum room with a huge Quigley numbered print of Buddy Lake (famous Florida site known for Hillsboroughs and Newnans).

Can't wait to take possession of it. I know mom is happy of what her daughter has done and how good she has done it!

My mother was a award winning quilter and made me a small kachina doll quilt with several of the points I've found in the past,it's a one of a kind cherished hand made with love gift that every time you look at you will see her looking back at ya!! Priceless!!! Merry Christmas Gomer
