Microcosmos (1996)

I am sure some of you use "Netflix"... My wife and I don't even utilize the DVD by mail aspect anymore... Just the video streaming service over WiFi. About $8 a month which is about 8 fast food "dollar menu items". Works great on the iPhone or even popular video game systems like the Nintendo Wii. Both can do video out to your primary TV....

So anyways, enough about technology... Another post for another time (relating to the disgusting cost of LED TV's vs. LED projection...)

"Microcosmos" is a French documentary about the insect world using macro cameras and ultra sensitive microphones to pick up what our ears don't hear and what our eyes miss.

As of now, I want a pet dung beetle!!!

Here are two screenshots of a happy hunter who meets a hurdle in this documentary...

(Thorn in the road...)

(Back it up and move on...)

Now I know with my cats and dog, I can offer one of these hard working beetles a good home!

Scorching heat, sand, and fresh "poo"... I got that beetle livin' cats A$$...

.

PS. Wow, that reminds me of all the times I went hunting and didn't even find a ball of poo... Let's see what 2012 has to offer .
