These are a few of my favorite pics I have of Indian children from the Amazon. The children are always curious and friendly and add much to my visits to their communities. Cristobal Colombo when visiting the Indiginous people of the Delta Amacuro in Venezuela wrote to his benefactor, Queen Isabela of Spain, that he had found the Garden of Eden and called these people Hijos In Dios or Children of God and this is the origen of the word Indios or Indian!
