Lol, Hello Kitty.

KR, you might want to get some of that acne medication stuff they keep running infomercials on. It might be that acne that's preventing you from finding employment.

The sad part is...... somebody out there really LOOKS like that.

I was there in the early 80's, same deal. Lots of pretty young kids in the PIP with Kalishnikovs. They were pretty proud of them (and their uniforms) and loved having their pictures taken. Thought I was was in deep poop one night, plainclothes guys with assault rifles get on the train to look for drugs, turns out I was sitting on a bag of coca leaves. :/

DrDave514, off subject but do you have ar have you found any Jobo points? Also the raised earthworks in the Llanos are fascinating to me.What can you tell me about them I don't read in my books? I've collected some interrestng ceramic materials from along the Upper Orinoco and especialy along the Upper Ventuari River near Cano Negro relating to Araunquin cultural sequence. As you know we have nothing but Precambrian granite so other than the stone celts/axes and the rare stone ornaments made from exotic materials there are no lithics in Amazonas.

My official title is Survey Party Chief.
Sounds funny, huh? A group or crew of surveyors used to be called a party of surveyors or "survey party".

I started out in construction 12 years ago as a labor hand and moved to the survey crew.
I also worked as an estimator/project manager for a few years, but went back to my real love.......construction surveying.

In the old days when you had two axe men, two chainmen, one or two flagmen, a deputy surveyor, and sometimes a protection detail it probably felt like more of a party.
