Gotta love the desert.

The pictures of the sheep in the park were taken in Boulder city Nv. There are usually some there eating .sleeping, ect. This time of year they usually disperse into the mountains w/the spring greenup and come back in late spring. The other sheep pics were taken just outside Henderson.

Heres some more sheep,These were taken in valley of fire state park{NV} .The pic w/ sheep on grass was taken in Boulder city. Nevada has 3 species of wild sheep. Rocky mountain bighorns, california bighorns, these are desert bighorns, the most common in the state.

Great basin & speckled rattlesnakes. My son heard the great basin rattle as we were driving down the road. The funny part is I still couldn't really hear him after we got out of the truck.

Thanks for the GREAT PHOTOS. Wish I was there. Neat face in the rock.

You'll have to explain how close you were for the last photo? I would need to be 6 inches with my $100 camera.

About 4 ft. from a 2 1/2 ft. snake . thanks for looking. This is the best time of year to be out there, well from now until it gets hot.

Nice pics..........I like the buzz tails, as long as they don't try to bite me.
