Bridger National Forest Wyoming

A few years back I spent some time camping there and fishing for trout. WE set up our tent near a mountain stream. There was no one around but us, that's what I was looking for, to get away from the tourist areas and just enjoy nature! This place was awesome, the beauty was more than I could have ever ask for, and the trout fishing was fantastic. Signs of Bear around and other large wildlife, payed close attention to making noise as we walked along the bank of the stream to fish, making sure we had no food near our camp where we were sleeping in a tent. Never seen a bear but they were around because we seen their signs. Caught trout cleaned them in the stream and cooked them up every night for supper. It is a beautiful place if you are ever looking to get away and spend a few days in the wilds of Wyoming I would highly recommend going there. Located near Bolder, Wyoming....about a 10 mile drive down a gravel road.... you get to see wildlife scampering by along the way. Pass Bolder lake and continue to the park campground where no one else wants to go and thats what makes it a wonderful place for a person looking to really camp in the wild! Joyce

This song is about the man the Forest is named after.
