Copperheads, Milk Snakes and Ringnecks
During the Fall months, I walk the trails from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m, with local professional nature photographer, Jeff Phillippi. We carry plenty of flashlights, snake hooks and gear, looking for awesome snakes. Last night was a pretty good night, finding three juvenile copperheads, one milk snake and one ringneck snake. Jeff's photographs are amazing; mine are not so great, but I enjoy the hunt. Anyway, here are a few of my photographs.

I love snakes. We don't have milk snakes here, though, and the fire ants wiped out our ringneck snakes years ago. Still got the copperheads, though. Beautiful but dangerous!
