My trail cam

I have been setting my trail cam up at night. We have been feeding the deer corn and watermelons. I got 177 pictures on my camera just last night. Usually about 125 to 150 pictures a night.
This bad boy came in last night along with two other bucks. I thought this one was cool because he is still in velvet. By the way these pictures are taken about 15 feet in front of my house by my bird bath right outside my living room window.

Wait, since when do adult deer have spots? The ones around here don't have spots like that.

Those are Axis deer, I have Whitetails, Axis and Black Buck. I live on the backside of a big Game ranch and these are some that got out years ago and they are starting to take over.
There is one Axis buck I have been trying to get pictures of that is a lot bigger than this one. I haven't got pictures of the Black Bucks yet but its just a matter of time. There are about 30 or so that hang around and probably 50 or more of the Axis.
I don't think they have crossbred with the Whitetails, never seen anything that looks like it would be.

Bobby, we have them here too. The blackbuck have been hunted too heavy. Still pockets of them all over where hunting isn't allowed. For folks that don't know..Axis are about half again the size of our white tails. They will eat pasture grass where the white tails won't. White tails are suffering here and look bad. Axis are doing well in spite of the drought. Never heard of them crossing. They have fawns throughout the year. Single fawn. Used to be all kinds of exotics running loose but not so much anymore. Love your cam pictures, please keep posting them.

New Buck

This is one of the bucks I have been trying to get pictures of. He came in during the night last night.
Also you can see the Whitetails and the Axis have learned to live together.

Kind of cool that the Axis does and Whitetail does don't show up in the same pictures. I see the first pic has a buck and a doe of different species, but do the groups mix much?
