Fresh snow and good fishing at Mammoth CA

Went up to Mammoth for a few days for some fishing. It snowed the night we got there but cleared up for a beautiful weekend.

Hey Dean, I took him at Crowley stripping a perch imitation from my tube. This one is 19". I also caught a 22" brown and a 22' rainbow. The browns are in full spawn colors.

Nice, very nice. I think the Brown trout and brook trout are one of the nicest looking fresh water fish.

Did you chow down or release?

Nice buck. Love the fall run. It is amazing how many can come out of tiny spot in a creek this time of year. Never did care to much for stripping streamers, though.
