Louisiana Reds
I recently got back from a fishing trip to Venice, Louisiana. It’s a fabulous fishery with lots of big stout reds. Caught more 30”+ reds than I ever have in one day and a couple near 40”. In the shallow water they make some great runs. This isn’t the biggest, but unfortunately, the only picture that was in focus on my fine cheap disposable camera.

Fantastic!!!! Venice, Louisiana is on my "must Fish" list!!! My friends who've gone there had great times pitching flies to the Reds.. and the Black Drums as well.... Cannot wait to be working flies for Big Reds like that one in your picture...
