Heckuva a guy

Got to go fishing last Wed one last time with a great kid that I watched grow up. We could always rely on him when we needed extra help surveying. Talk about a kid with his head screwed on right! He went to the Jr Missouri Highway Patrol academy a couple summers ago and decided that was the life for him and to get there he is going through the Air Force Security Forces. He ships out for basic in San Antonio in December and will be greatly missed by our community for the next six or more years.

We had an awesome morning of topwater bass fishing. He had one that he thought may go over seven pounds but it broke off when he went to lip it.

If anybody recognizes where we are please throw back the seven pounders for a few years until he comes back home. He deserves it.

Nice to see a few of the younger generation with goals and agendas. Agree with letting the big ones go too! Hell...Let all bass go and eat gills!!!!!!
