I think that's Morris. Nice Kitty!
That cat doesn't seem to either care or have a clue. But yet, something tells me you don't want to get to know it up to close and personal. Be careful out there!

yep not a joke , hes (shes) a killer, lots of young deer, turkeys and other stuff for it to eat, we go out in pairs usually, even though we are aware of their presence we wander in denial, if that cat jumps you, you would be very lucky to be able to have time to get your knife out of its sheath before it severed your spinal cord, i really think you have a better chance of getting in a car accident then ever even seeing a cat, very elusive very crafty and sneaky, well camouflaged all their senses are fine tuned to remain undetected, i know every time im within smelling or hearing distance that cat knows i am there, even if it dosnt see me, and moves in the opposite direction

thanks for the look ryno, you see i put the camera at the junction of two major deer trails to see if i could get an idea of how they are moving in this area, got some nice pics of two bucks fighting right here, this is back in a meadow miles from the road looking into the brush,

Longtime, you are getting too many cat pictures
Maybe time to thank them for nice pictures and let them have that area. Please have a buddy with you. Packing of course and with a lasso w/ noose. Have to choke those guys off prey. Ya'll can rope? right

lol , heck i can rope, i have three trail cameras , i check them once a week on average, i get anywhere from 300- 1200 pics each, you folks only get to see the ones that are worth showing, i usually bait with apples , salt blocks , dog food , cat food, fish heads, bacon , hot dogs, sometimes nothing, i dont take the time to de-scent the cameras, i wonder if i am causing problems with my picture taking sometimes , also the baiting, alot of the time i get the cat shots when ii set up on a buried cat kill that i find,( fly's and smell ), but all and all lillyput i dont think i am doing damage, if i am missing something that you know about the cats and there habits that you think i should knowi am all ears, i dont like to hurt animals ,and i just moved all my cameras because i dont like the same animals eating my baits, and these cats are very slick and well fed, cant see one attacking a person, but it has happened, like i said befor we just walk in denial,

lol whats up silver lake? not so much trouble as you might think, trail cams are cool because you only have to check them weekly ,put it on a major trail and come back later, the bucks are in their crazy mode chasing and fighting , easy to get close with a 300mm lens , a 500mm and you can see the eye lashes, i dont shoot anymore ,except with a camera . and if you like to hunt , its almost the same . still have to stalk ,, still have to worry about the wind, deer are always in season with a camera, we take turns one pushes the deer one photographs, its fun, we know alot of deer by site and look for the offspring of the dominant ones for years, sometimes one will disappears and you look for it and sometimes it reappears , or in acouple years one of its offspring looks just like it, everyone always asks how can you tell them apart they all look the same, and i just tell them their like cats , if their yours you can tell the difference between all five of them striped cats, one of my favorite deer i call deer-standing-in-hole, a genetic defect made his front legs short hence the name, hes 4or5 dont think he mates but i find him every year, lifes short, ive wasted alot of mine looking back on it, now i do what makes me happy, and thats usually making others happy , take care
