Bigger deer = smarter deer
bigger turkeys (usually older birds) = smarter turkeys

they're tougher to get and more rewarding when you do.
if i wanted meat i'd shoot does or ask my father-in-law who is a butcher. deer #'s aren't on the hunters, they're on the conservation departments. They make lots of $ off of it so they like the large #'s and large revenue that follows.

Man thats a HOSS!!!!! What did he score 160" -170" ? If that was a low fence kill hes damn sure a nice one. I'd love to get one like that, we just don't have the genes here. Leases are so expensive. Wish i could find me a good lease out that way some where.
