That is a beast!! Hopefully he spread his genes around. The rut is in full swing up here. I'm seeing more bucks when I'm travelling on the road than I've ever seen in the woods. Congratulations on that nice animal!

Thanks everyone. It is my widest whitetail at 25 inches inside. I'm going back out hunting at my deer lease after Thanksgiving to see if there is any big ones running around.

I like guns, own quite a few. Shot 249 out of possible 250 to get license to carry. All that said....I don't understand why ya'll want to get the biggest, best buck. We are so overloaded with deer here that the limit should be 10 or more but this year should be a culling year. Just too many.

Very nice little point

One of the benefits of culling is that the habitat will better support the remaining deer herd. Hence, More food for the living deer. A good deer management program that includes culling as an important part of the overall plan provides healthier bigger deer and antlers.
