I built a shallow bay flats skiff a few years ago! It was a blast, time consuming though, and the budget kept going up! It is a tough task, but it would run in 5 inches of water with a 50 HP Honda 4 stroke! It was 13 1/2 ft long, and about 5 ft wide! It was a fun little boat! Good luck!
