wild life pics

some new pics #1 bunch of young turkeys,#2 a normal youngster getting alittle tree action lol, #3 more turkeys, #4 i call this guy limpy, if you zoom in on his hind legs you will be very surprised to find them crossed,i have seen him for years, i dont know if he was born like this or an accident caused them to cross, either way it does not bother him as far as i can tell , just a little limp, but he can run and fight, and has a girlfriend every year. #5 a forky with his girls, #6 an old forky,#7 if you zoom in on this guys antlers i guess its a genetic defect that causes the bulbous nobs you see, i have only seen this once before, on that deer the bulbs were on the tips though.#8 moose up a pole is all i can say, during the rutt i guess they attack anything even a cable moving along the ground, my friend sent this pic fromm alaska, thoughts and comments sought,

Always wondered where that saying came from, " Don't know _ _ _ _ _ from a hole in a tree."

THink I've seen that last pic somewhere online. Hard to figure out? Was the snowpack so high that moose hung itself on the wires? Photoshop? Interesting pic.

no photo shop ghost , they say the bull was in rutt , was probably using the cable as a rub, got twisted up and when they pulled the cables tight he went up with them, i didnt want to include the details but seeings your curious my friend said the moose was still kicking so they put it out of its misery, for some reason they have to call fish and game in a case like this (out of season?? i dont know ) the story gos though when fish and game got there , somehow the antlers had disappeared, thats all i know ,

That makes alot more sense than a 40 foot snow base. Nice pics man, plentiful game in your neck of the woods.

I also remember seeing the moose before, and according to snopes it happened just like LongTime described. That had to be weird looking up at a big moose kicking while hanging from some power lines. The utility guys probably work in pairs, the first guy probably said "What the @&$&?" The second guy said "They aren't going to believe us"

There was some old comedy skit or book called "Who goosed the moose, antlers in the treetops" this would have been an appropriate picture for the cover.
