Great pictures as usual. Poor doe with the tumor. The one with the fringe ears........maybe ticks early in her life? I had a horse whose ears were messed up by ticks. Thick and a few holes... mystery!

our deer are a blacktail -mule deer hybrid, we also occasionally see desert burrow deer , which are a mule deer sub- species, to the north of us about 100 miles there is a deer more blacktail that is probably a sub- species , that is supposed to get its own name,, if you believe the magazines i read, our deer cant get into boone and crockett, i guess they dont have a spot for hybrids, we get some monsters though, as for seeing cats, in all my life ive only seen one twice , one time from across a valley i saw two juveniles playing up on the hill, once i saw just a flash and a butt disappearing into the brush , i see tracks every time i go out , i get a pic of one at least once a month on my trail cams, its strange to see them so often on my cameras and no that they are there even though i never see them, i find deer kills half buried all the time, i glass, i sit and watch , but i never see them, bob cats are plentiful, and easy to spot in the morning hours
