OkieLand Trout..again

Hi, I just seen a post about the trout here in Oklahoma..
I have land on Tenkiller and fish there as well, but also, have a friend in a tiny little town in NE Oklahoma that has a spring fed pond. I love to fish there! It's always a thrill seeing what you will catch.
Thought I'd share a couple pics.

Thanks for looking,
Lisa

Apparently iPad has some upgrading to do...plz refer to next post..ha

pics of BigFish

The trout are rainbows..and they are all quite large! The bass are just humongous, I almost always put them back respectively...and that crappie was a dang surprise..he weighed in at 2.9 lbs. I also tossed him back.

Beautifull spot you have access to. Well done, you must have been thrilled with the fight on that light tackle.

Lisa, that crappie is a go-rillla.....I normally turn them loose in some hot grease. Just kidding, well not really. If you fish a small body of water you do have to be mindfull of what you take. Great looking fish & pond.

Thanks all for looking. I agree on having a great friend that allows me the privilege to fish whenever. That's the main reason I throw some of those huge whoppers back...if it wasn't agreed on what would be kept beforehand, (out of respect) I normally only keep the many trout we catch! The pond is larger than what you see in the pic (5 acres and 22 ft deep approx..),but there are times when he says "keep everything" for the thinning purpose. And on that crappie, later when I mailed the pic he said, wow lisa...I'd have kept that. Haha

spring fed @22ft. is the reason for the
