1-6-12 pics

a few new pics for you all to enjoy, starting to feel like i am not contributing to the site in the right way with these pics and no arrowhead pics , so i think i will have to go back into my missouri collection and try and identify so things i am not sure about, hope you enjoy the pics

You add greatly to this community - your pictures are wonderful - all the heads and tools can get a bit over wildlife becomes a welcome relief now that will probably get me in trouble

Love the running bucks, great photos. The big horn laughing at us is pretty good too. Thank you for posting

Sad to see that massive tree gone but always nice to see your beautiful girls.

the big horn sheep is smelling for his mate, he is using what i think is called the jacobsons organ, its cool he knows where all his people are lol and dosnt even need to see them, the old tree is or was a state historical tree but i believe it died of old age, it was rumored to of been a long time hanging tree, i have seen the tree in pics from the 1880s and it looked exactly the same size, it was outside the stage coach station, i know of bigger oak trees but they are black oaks this was a live oak and i never counted the rings but i imagine the tree was well over 400 years old, there are some trees almost as big and just as old on the property , i hope they do not cut them down, the property has been given back to the state to build a new high school, thanks as always for the look and continued interest
