October Camping
For me, October camping in Texas is the best month. Temperatures are in the 80s during the day and it is cool enough at night for a big fire. Traditionally, it is an ok month weather wise.
We'll be heading out on a little camping trip this weekend. Who else is planning a camping trip in October and where are you headed?

Great time of year to camp here, also. It has gotten cold enough to kill most of the bugs. Gets down to freezing at night sometimes, but always warms up during the day.

We are finally getting some rain near Austin. Saw this little fella in the Pedernales River last weekend...they're still out.
