Kicking It Old School

I saw this set up this past weekend at the Comanche, Texas Pow Wow. It's an 1937 ALL ORIGINAL homemade 'air screen' camper. And I do mean original right down to the canvas window shades and original mattress springs inside. No matress left, just the springs. Also had the orignal table which consisted of a board that was connected to to the 'tailgate' outside and had a swing-out leg on it very similar to an old ironing board. The panel you see below the door swung open and that's where you slid the john-boat in.

A pretty neat set up that you don't see everyday...

Tell you what, there's been times that I've been really camping when I wished I'd had that mobile mansion! Cool setup.
