Tents

Awhile back I solicited tent information here and good some good feedback <thank you>. I still have not yet pulled the trigger and purchased one yet so the research continues...

In my efforts I ran across this link. The respite tent is an interesting concept.

I prefer a good, solid canvas tent for long term use. These are the ones from Cabela's that we used during the 9 day hunting trip from which I just returned.

All I know is a 4 man is tent is usually big enough for 2 people and their gear. A two man is just right for 1 person and their gear. The springbar tents are real easy to put up, unless the wind is blowing. I would go with Coleman, I have one that is about 20 yrs old and still good.

I see no hot tubs, tapped kegs, or Swedish Bikini Teams.

Keep researching......

I know this an old thread but you may want to look into tentcots if you haven't bought one yet.

store.kamprite.com/catalog/Kamp-Rite-Oversize-TentCot-p-16146.html

I like them for these reasons:
You just unflold it to set it up so they're super quick to put up and take down.
They 're good in rain/high winds.
You can also fold one side down and turn it into a chaise lounge.
They also fold up into the size of a lawnchair.

I suggest getting the pads that are made for them. 2 inches of foam makes it real comfortable.
