Living in north central KY we don't get those here. I've hunted them in the past in IN and IA and can get some from family on occasion but I sure do miss hunting them. I'm jealous.

I watch that site too and post there from time to time. It hit 80 today, the warm nights really will have them popping soon here in Va. I think it will be a good year around here with all the snow and rain we've had. They did some scheduled burns last year in the forest right beside me, I'm thinking that would be a good place to start looking. Know any other good places to look besides dead elms, oaks, poplars and old apple trees?

Would it be asking too much to also find a case of "Mojave Gold" lager setting next to the Patch of Morels??????
