Anyone hunt for these?

I consider my self a rock/hound.From Alaska's white Agates.to Florida's shark teeth.I pick up rocks, Fossils,wild Indian women///lol
But the one thing that has some deep attraction,,, is Petrified wood. The first piece was found here in central Texas and the other is from East of Bastrop Tx.Does anyone here do the same.I would like to see them./comanche

We find it all the time on the river, but usually not quite such big pieces. I have picked some up, but anymore we just leave it unless it is a nice piece.

I would not mind seeing someone Knapp A piece of pet-wood.From what I understand it is very difficult.Petrified wood points are close to my favorite type.Next to the G.B. Obsidian. And I find alot of Georgetown flint types./comanche
I really like the G-town stuff.I think this was a shaft straightener or some other tool. Not real impressive as a tool but highly coveted flint.

I collect any piece of high grade fossilized coral, any piece of fossilized wood at all. I bring home only perfect fossil specimens now. My yard and house is full of stuff I drag home. We should all be trading agate specimens from different areas. Only agate here in FL is the fossilized coral

And I pick up abraders from my Woodland sites. Some yard stones.
