Heck of a fish! What did you catch it on?The biggest slab I ever caught nailed a spinnerbait when I was bass fishing.

The Alabama state record for a white crappie is 4lb 9oz.

You have an absolute MONSTER there.

Wow! That thing is huge! The state record here in Texas is 4.56, and that was caught in 1968! Very nice, Flint. Thanks for sharing. Dustin

Thanks Yall, she measured 17'',i could hold my arm out and lay it on my forearm and with her tail at my fingertips, her mouth would go up to my elbow. i have a picture of that, ill have to get it loaded up on here. yea i missed the state record by 7oz. thats why i wished i would have taken her to get weighed when i first caught it,because ive always heard that when you take a fish out of the water and out of their enviroment thay start to lose weight, and i had her on a stringer for 3 hours fishing different spots.

Nice slab! Just wondering what lake it was caught at, I used to fish at Weiss Lake for vacation in the spring and caught some nice slabs there and at Bay Springs they had a 5lb 3 oz crappie mount along with one just over 4 lbs., Sure do miss those days. Congrats. Lou
