two insects i saw
well the first one is some type of tarantula, the 2 one is a moth but i dont now what kind so i will call it the perdiz moth

Garza : your second one is an underwing moth (generic family term). Specifically, it looks like a hawk moth.

I dug up a larvae of one Friday. It was at least 4 times the size of my thumb. Very juicy.
