Brian - copperhead bites are almost always non-lethal, but I have personal testimony from three survivors that they will make you heartily wish for death!

I did not see it at first ,,, Lewis gave it away,,,Hate the Copper Heads,,,they will chase you..The term:"Mean as a snake",,, I Think came from this Fella,,,or a Cotton Mouth.

I have a buddy his daughter had been bitten by a copperhead she stepped out of there Jeep in the front yard barefooted in the dark and one about two and half foot long got her twice. She had to lay in the hospital for over a week they thought she was going to lose her leg there for a while it turned some nasty colors .this is a reminder of that every time I look at this picture.This was in Texas.
