This is really exciting and I hope it bears well all the ensuing scrutiny.

And this: It's interesting to me how so many folks view archaeologists as pipe-smoking, academicians debating nuances in their chalked marked jackets and never handling a fraction of artifacts that average collectors do -- until a discovery of this type occurs. Thank goodness for the carbon dating because when you see the small sample of pieces they posted in the original article(pdf link), they look like scraps and bits that we find all of the time and don't find worthy of even posting on here.
Great article and great link. I thought the fact that the article went straight from Land Bridge to Skin Boats without regard for any other theories was interesting.
