Public Archaeology

It's true that historically archaeology in general as been the field of a few, with knowledge restricted to only the "qualified." We're working to change that...

The last two pages are continuous works in progress...we're building similar 3-d tours like the first page for the latter.

I would really like to thank you for those links. This region has intriqued me for a long time. I have been to almost all of the Anasazi Sites you list and how do you describe the feeling the first time you viewed Cliff Palace? I am really happy to see a program like this there, knowing it will spark more interest in American Archaeology.

Happy to see the "likes"... wish there were more... spread the links! It's a long process, but I think the more people see what can and is being done, the higher the demand, and hence the increased willingness of agencies to join and fund these sorts of projects, and the greater involvement of the public as well.
