Indian Artifacts Found During Bridge Build in St. Louis
this probably shouldn't be a big suprise being so close to the Cahokia Mounds site. Still thought it was worth sharing.

Thanks for the link, geneglass! About 20 people asked me if I seen it on the news!!
Now I can say YES!! lol They're saying not to worry that "nothing" will be left by the time the bridge is put in,,,That ALL archaeological material and information will be completely removed. I have a hard time beleiving that statement,,but at least they're doing what they can.

Sounds like they already know what they ae going to find. Makes you wonder why they even dig it then. Who knows what they may find! But it sure won't stop the project!

Thanks for the post CMD. Interesting, but I still hope they go slow and do a VERY thorough job, and stop with the presupositions!

I would think they could dig there for a year and not find everything that the river holds. Nothing they find will stop that bridge from going up. I think we can all agree on that.
