This just gave me a great idea. When asking for permission to hunt new fields, just bring a bag and make a deal to pull weeds while you hunt. Everybody wins! Most farmers around here want $omething in return or just say "No" because they are worried of getting sued if you get injured on their land.

That could be likely for small farms. But farms with 1000s of acres, i don't know

i hope it happens soon !!! most of the fields i hunt are just disc and then drilled not much comes to the surface anymore. loved the good ol days of 12 inch deep rows !!!

I say if it isn't broke don't fix it. Scientists and chemist are trying to reduce cost by implementing herbicides and pesticides to farming. It doesn't work , my uncle was a farmers for years. The only thing that works is the age old plow.I say moldboard it, let artifact hunters find artifacts, and stop wasting time on chemical advancements and get on with life. It is what it is
