New Book - FINDERS KEEPERS By Craig Childs

FINDERS KEEPERS By Craig Childs

A Tale of Archaeological Plunder and Obsession, Childs explores the world of archaeology, and the moral implications of what to do with found ancient artifacts. The book covers the 2009 raid by federal officers in Blanding, Utah, where prominent citizens were arrested for illegally trading in artifacts.

I've only read excerpts so far, but an interesting read.

That is a very good read, David. The author is looking at all sides of collecting artifacts and the ethics of treasure hunting. I may add that one to my e-library to be able to finish reading it all.

Thanks for posting that David... I am certainly going to add it to my List of "Wanna own & read" books...
That list never seems to get smaller.. because as Books are acquired, another Book pops up and is added to the List..
Just like my "Places i have to Go Flyfishing in"...... they never get Smaller/Shorter....

An old subject, with very little meaningful insight. I will probably read it, to try to gain some new insight, ya never know.
