Wow that is very cool, thanks. The article lists pretty much everyone who is seriously involved in paleo archaeology in Alaska. I was talking with Kunz last week and he didn’t mention this. He asked me for some info for an upcoming publication or something. I don’t know if there is any connection but it will be interesting to see the Siberia similarities referenced.
Just for clarity it is 11,500 CALENDAR years old, not RCYBP. Fascinating stuff nonetheless… |

Wow, 1200 years older than the previously oldest known remains from Alaska or Canada found at "On your knees cave" in the early 90s. It's nice the Alaskan natives don't seem as opposed to this type of important research as some other groups. Here is a link to the cave I referenced.
