Unusual Currency-Added pic of new buy $100 Confederate Bill 4-11-2011

Check these new buys out. I have sold them since but they are still cool. The Obsolete notes from KY are what they call a rarity 6 which means 6-10 reported in any condition. So what are they worth? Bascially $150 each max. Not enough people even know they exist or collectors that the price is low right now. Probably a field that will explode in the future if the economy starts looking better. I am putting back rarity-7's (1-5 known) and some are flat out cheap. They won't be forever I feel. That is one of of the very few area of coin and currency collecting that has not increased in value much the last 10 years. I am a dealer in Coin and Currency and Tokens...etc and enjoy sharing pics of the neater items that pass through my doors that I am able to buy. The National banknote from Parkersburg
is very scarce also and brought $500 in this rough of shape but this market peaked a few years ago. This one books for a grand but $500-$650 is more realistic in the current economy.

I STILL OWN THIS TOKEN
But would consider offers!

Mark

That stuff has always peaked my interest. I have some stuff, though not that interesting. I'm always looking for more in my travels. Thanks for the post.

I ran across a Kirtland around 10 years ago. It sold for high on eBay even though it was missing a corner. Guess that little Joseph Smith Auto on the note helped.

Cool looking pieces Mark. I hope to make it up your way sometime soon to see the new pieces you just got.
