New kind of relic hunt!

I went on a different kind of dig today, and found some really interesting items.
This one I used two scuba tanks to help.
The indigenous population, the tuber clan, has been frequenting the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels for some time now. These people are a lot of fun to study. I found 26 necklaces, 2 waterproof cameras, a couple of $20's, 7 sunglasses and some sort of tobacco pipe......I think......that were left behind. Obviously given to the river Gods by a ritualistic consumption of alcohol.
I am learning a lot about the local customs of these people. There is a lot of trade, and most interesting of this in non monetary, the incredible gratitude of the females of this clan when you give them a beaded necklace and the beautiful gesture of affection they give in return. I soon ran out of these unfortunately as I traded a lot. I plan to go back as often as possible.

I used to go to a lot of the Gasparilla parades in Tampa. I'd buy a case of beads to throw, it's amazing what women will show you for a cheap bead necklace.

gcode, since the trade of beads seemed to be sort of a "mating" ritual, Imo, - there were not a lot of photo ops, with the exception a a few that would not be appropriate to post on this fine forum......sorry.

Troy,,I know, I have heard that the LCRA, LGRA and all those other authorities know exactly where those spots are too! While the lakes are so low and in times in the past I have heard of a lot of people getting in a huge bunch of trouble doing that. I would love to otherwise.
