1940's Lysol bottle

I am a bottle digger and collector, but am not an expert. From my limited knowledge I would say it is a machine made 1940's bottle; could be a lysol bottle. Value = 50 cents to $2.00, but neat and something to throw on the shelf.

Used to do alot of digging before I got into artifacts. Sold off most but found this packed away the other day. 1870-1890 shear top ink with double pen holders. Worth maybe $15-20 bucks.

Whenever you find em with the bottom like yours, you know right away it's not that old. I would guess late 50's. We call stuff like that... "A dollar in the pocket", Cuz it's like picking up a dollar, lol That's the price you will get at a flea market...if you are lucky. Still cool find though. Mark, Cool bottle!!

Owens/iIllinois brown bottle from the Alton Illinois plant(#7 on the left). Bubble bottoms started in the 40's for cooling purposes. Made in 1942 0r 1952(probably42) Number to the right of logo. I collect the green and blue bottles from this era but they really don't have much value.

I work for Owens-Illinois and I'll see if I can't get some info on some of our older bottles. Like the I.D. numbers on the bottom.
