Cone top beer cans - another great score

Well, I lucked out again, finding these old cans at a junk shop in Kansas City. Fortunately for me, the seller did not know anything about beer cans. I figured it was not my position to educate him and have him raise the asking price,....so I got them for a ridiculous bargain. Good for me....These cans are from the 1940's and 1950's and are in relatively good shape. I am a collector of cone top and pre 1960 flat top beer cans so this made my day. This is my second favorite hobby; artifacts are first of course.

Great cone tops. You don't see those very often for sale at a decent price. They are truly tough items. Way to go!!!! I love old cool collectibles like these. Quite valuable cans you got there dude.

Thanks. Yes, they are indeed hard to find in good condition. Here are some that I purchased a few months back from a guy that was cleaning out his stepfather's garage. These two were beauties...

Those are nice. My families business here in KY that I now own is a Coin and Antique Shop and the last 30 years I have have been involved I never really had anyone bring cone-top or older flat top beer cans in to sell. That's odd but true. It may be because this town was dry from like the 40's until 1980. We do have plenty of arrowheads around her though.LOL!!
