I lost my marbles.

Ok. I found them. Like a lot of guys on here I seem to find my fair share of marbles. I dont really know anything about them and I havent ever shown them. I will continue to collect them because I think they are so cool. I have one ceramic dice. Looks to be hand made and in great shape.

Thumbs up Now there are reasons for keeping them

I too fine these but I unlike some others go out intentionally to find them. Some of the people I know get together and dig at a dump site where they come out in quantities at times. Then sometimes they are one at a time.
I have posted this pic before but sometimes it just seems appropriate to bring them out again.
Your pic looks as if you have some that date from pre WWII up to present.
All that is in my pic are turn of 20th century to Pre 50's.

Keep em they could be valuable to someone someday.

Those are nice marbles bro... appears to be some old ones in there! I just find an occasionl marble. I have kept a few choice ones. I have found 3 indian marbles as well. 2 clay ones, and 1 stone one, and I have a couple older swirl man made ones.

I was the marble king in the 6th grade! I wish I had kept them now..never would of thought to keep them back then. Used most of them in my sling shot in the 8th grade. Nice collection you got there!

I find marbles everywhere. Fields, creeks, flowerbeds when I'm working. It's as if everyone "lost their marbles".

I suppose in twenty years I'll be digging up cell phones and ipads instead...

Found a nice clay marble in the creek along with a couple of points today. I find a couple a year in the creeks and a dozen or so every spring in the fields here in Missouri. They are fun to find and make a nice display. Nice stuff above too, guys!

I find the glass marbles and historic clay marbles on a couple spots. There's also a lead musketball and a highly polished egg shaped hardstone piece in this handful.
