Furniture
I love old furniture and have made a living at woodwork and restoring antiques for most of my life. I just brought this old pine piece back. It was probably made in the 1870s or so. Originally built with square nails, mortice and tenon joints, the drawers have hand cut dovetails. First photo is "before".

Nice work restoring that piece to it's former glory! It blows my mind how valuable some of those old pieces of furniture are. I have seen many pieces on The Antiques Roadshow appraise for $30,000+

Great job on the rehab and neat piece. I have been looking for a barrister bookcase for a book/display combo piece, but it looks like a pie safe might be an option too.
