Bottles & Fossils

I thought I would show some of the other things that I have found while hunting, fishing and artifact hunting. Some of the bottles I found while digging swimming pools. Some of the bottles and the fossils all came from the Arkansas River except the ammonite and the large round piece which I found at a buddies place near Glen Rose, Texas. I pick up the terrapin shells when ever I spot them also. You just never know what you will find in the river bed. Petrified wood, bones and teeth of every descripition. I usually don't come home with empty pockets.

I found it and about twenty others layed in a line like a fallen tree about three to five feet apart half way sticking out of the ground in a friends pasture near Glen Rose, Texas in 1980. Some type of prehistoric plant is my guess. No drilling there as far as known by the owner.

Man I love all that stuff too. The bottles are killer.

We've got a lot of empty Terrapin shells over here too.

I like the fossils, and bottles Tuck! Everytime up head up to hunt arrowheads on the river I find fossils. Maybe if I start hunting fossils I'll find more arrowheads!

I bring all that stuff home with me too. I have a friend that is a bottle digger, and has even made a book on the subject. He has given me the heads up on what to look for.

Nice stuff man.

I wonder if that big one is some ancient type of palm tree trunk.

I bet if you post it here they could tell you what it is, these guys are good.
