Bullets

These were all found in an 1850s US Union Army camp (Western) , plus quite a few more, by me. Others have found many also.

Thanks! Barbarosa - Yes, those are rifle percussion caps, probably for a Sharps rifle. There are 3 small ones there above the pistol slugs.

LOL..Thanks comanche, those are varying calibers of pistol and musket balls, from 20 to 50 caliber..made out of LEAD. All the slugs in that frame is lead except the percussion caps, they are brass.

All the slugs and balls are made of lead, from 20 to 69 caliber.

That makes a really unique frame! Very cool. Did you find other Civil war stuff..seems like where there's bullets there would be a good deal of other interesting artifacts from the camp.

It's all pre-Civil War stuff from this site. Look at my "Good Day" post, Trask..same place. Will trade bullets for bone pins!
