I collect things from the Inca
Having just one piece makes you a collector right?
I really like this little jar, was really hard to put back together because it was pretty THIN. Of course if it hadn't been smashed in shipping to the original buyer I couldn't have afforded the piece either so I'm not complaining. Incan jar with a Jaguar wrapped around the spout.

That is really a cool piece of pottery! Don't matter that it was broke, still looks great!!! I have read a lot about the Inca and enjoy seeing anything from South America that's old, like Mayan also.

That is a neat piece, however it looks more like a coati mundi to me.

Yeah, it probably is something like that I've just always said jaguar because people know what that is.

Very nice looking Jar Cannonman17. I only have one piece of a Pre Columbian artifact and it's a forearm and hand off of a larger statue that is Zapotec in culture and from what I have read is a little older than the Aztecs. Joshua Ream showed me a picture once of the type of statue it came off of and they are really cool looking.
Here's a few pictures of it.

Pottery - Vessel
In September 2003, I found this vessel, along with many other antiquities in a box in an abandoned warehouse in southern Missouri. After doing some research, I found that the owner of the warehouse lived in South America for eight years and was an artifact digger. I have, along with this vessel, the original photographs of his digs. Any thoughts on the origin and period? I thought it may be related to the Mocha culture.
