Over at the museum we had a few display cases for sale that were hand made by Greg Perino. Not sure if there's any left, but they have a lot of history and nostalgia. Very well made frames, he was quite the woodworker. The corners have strips of wood inlaid in them and the backs come off in a very strange fashion..held on with popsicle sticks, lol.

Here's a really crappy pic, I'll see if I can't take a better one later. The left case was made by Greg. You can see the small strips of wood inlay that he put in the corners of them.

Cool, thanks. Those little splines were probably meant to reinforce the mitres.

Oh, and the points aren't bad either..lol.
