Cuts and Broken rocks.
Due to the generosity of one of our fellow members I've been subjecting myself to the frustrating, yet enjoyable, pastime of flintknapping. One more activity that proves just because you understand how something is done doesn't mean you can automatically do it. I'm building up a sweet collection of cuts and broken rocks.

I started this morning and have 3 pieces to show for it. I won't be showing the broken rocks.

BTW, I know that knapping goes against some of our members instincts so...... too bad I guess. However, Tom's hammer is welcome.

Good rain yesterday so hopefully it will be dry enough to hunt tomorrow. My whole body needs a break.

Your doing well,Hell I make far better tools then points..lol...Now find a deers leg bone and knapp the tools to work it....It's fun...realy it is..lol

It's the only thing I can do half way decent so every piece gets everything I can do right now, lol.

Doc let's put those on Fleabay! Rub on some dirt and doodoo pitch and I'll authenticate them with my new company, Fo Real Authenticators!!! Then on our papers we will put Comanches phone number!!! Yes????

Tom, I know, I'm going to have to look at using some kind of gloves.
DW, the points are taking the worst of it at the moment as my fingers will heal.
Cluton, I think that's a fabulous idea. The fact that they are not of any "type" hasn't stopped a lot of knuckleheads.
