Pendejo Cave
Another of the "pre-clovis" sites. This one has dates going back to 50,000BP.

I'm not drawing any conclusions with regard to the findings in the link, that would be way beyond my pay grade. But, I will make an observation regarding the name of the cave. It's an unfortunate name for such a site. If your not already familiar with the term here is a link to the definition of pendejo, scroll down about half way.
Spanish profanity - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Thanks for posting the link, I'm always interested in hearing about early sites. Here is another link with references to Pendejo Cave in an article on geoarchaeological methods. http://csfa.tamu.edu/CSFA/mammoth/is...vol15_num2.pdf |

Do you get the feeling someone may have been pulling a joke on the guys that named the cave? " Si Senor, pendejo, it means like..uh intersting."
