Pretty amazing work there. I find it hard to believe that the big monster Ky. Clovis from last year is in better shape than that freshly knapped St. Louis repro. Just an observation, not trying to rehash anything here.

Lord knows we don't want to beat that horse anymore but I think the newly knapped Woody piece represents what is considered more accurate in style and flaking than the KY Clovis. That seems to be one of the most common detracting observations about the KY Clovis. Not so much the condition, as many have been found in great shape, but that it's in a style and finishing that is not consistant with past pieces of the type. So either the KY piece is an outlier and authentic or it's modern and made by someone who didn't really know how to do it right.
