Great looking material. I don't think Solutrean when I see them.

Don't take this the wrong way but reproductions in general rub alot of people the wrong way, especially people who put in the time and legwork to find and collect authentic artifacts. Don't be surprised if you see an image of Mr. Ballpeen Hammer make an appearance.

Nice work though, it's good to see knappers still signing their reproductions.

Your very first statement on this thread says ALL of your replications are Solutrean and not Native American and then you have the audacity to jump onto someone who questions that what you just posted pictures of look just like NA artifacts.

Not a very good good way to start out on the board my friend.

Dude, you posted two pics and stated (without proper punctuation) "all replications are not from native American tribes but solutrian and ice age eras" so I gathered that you were not making Native American pieces but rather commited to reproducting Solutrean pieces (I see you did YOUR research on the spelling). The pieces you put up do not look Solutrean. That's all I was saying.

The only other thing I said was that the material is nice.

How that turned into me needing to do my history, I don't know.

Now you've pointed out that you knap pieces from various periods and areas. I guess that needed clarification for me considering my assumptions from your original post.

Since we are being honest and open now, like old friends, I will admit what I left out in my original post. I think your knapping is good in terms of thinness but you need work on symmetry and finishing. I can see that as someone who's 6 weeks into knapping.
