Thumbs up Cleaning Trout with Blade Flake

My Son's Idea as he both Knapps and fishes several times a week. It was something I have always wanted to try too. Not surprisingly it was effortless, clean and efficient...3 decent flakes could easily process a mess of game in short order.

Nice demonstration Rogue! Obsidian is very sharp, I recently cut a piece of leather with an obsidian flake I made and it was very easy, like a razor blade.

..Actually sharper than a razor blade if you get the right flake
We have a healthy respect and awe for Obsidian....Having gone through about 500lbs of it (and a pile of band-aides) in the last year or so.

Dana sent me some obsidian from California and I was going to give it a try. Yeah on my first hit I laid my finger open and bled all over the porch. That stuff is pretty dang sharp.

Good post Trask, thumbs up to your son.
