Michigan Overview

This link may have been posted before ; if so, it's worthy of a replay. Good stuff.

My best field is near the Weber site, Cass river near Frankenmuth. This field was occupied for at least 8000 years. The 3 points I found in May hunting with "Justonemore" The bifurcated one I think is a small kirk and two mississippian arrow points. The second picture is my first complete find and best find ever! Ive shown it before, Hi-Lo.Anybody recognize this material?

Looks like one of a million different kinds of glacial cobbles from way up north somewhere. Some of them are really bizarre.

That was the best I ever had for quantity! There are some good spots but the trick is getting permission! Some family's have collected for generations and wont let ANYBODY hunt. Funny thing is many of them just throw it all in 5 gallon buckets and call it a collection. Uniface, I would love to find a point made of it!
