Arrow design

Been thinking about how bad I need to start shooting my Bowtech. Guess if I think about archery, it is a good start. I've got a few questions I hope somebody knows the answers to.

Was wondering if anybody knew if there was any evidence out about the natives fletching arrows with a helical pattern or is that something we've figured out for modern archery?

If they did, it would raise another question: I assume there is such a thing as a left handed Indian. Would they have also shot a bow left handed or trained to shoot right handed like the majority?

I have never heard of natives fletching arrows using a helical pattern. My guess would be that it's a modern twist...

I would say yes on left-handed natives and yes on left-handed bow shooters....
